COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • All paintings entered in the competition must be for sale and remain on display for the duration of the festival.
  • All entries must have a B.I. Plein Air authentication stamp.  Additional instructions regarding stamping of surfaces TBD.
  • All entries must be created outdoors, on-location during the festival.
  • Work must be framed and wired for hanging. Gallery-wrapped canvases wired for hanging with painted but dry edges (must be able to touch the edges to hang) will also be accepted.
  • Images of artwork entered in the competition may be used to promote the festival.
  • Winslow Art Center will retain a 35% commission on sales, 15% will be donated to the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum and 50% of sales price will be paid to the artist after the closing of the exhibition.  Date of closing TBD.
  • Maximum painting size is 16×20 inches
  • Maximum number of submissions per artist TBD

  • The entry fee is non-refundable.
  • Dates of the festival are Sept. 2-5, 2020.  The Gala is Friday, Sept. 4, 6pm-8pm.
